After a successful event last year, the Kaizer fans are about to repeat the fun this year. On Monday, August 7, Skuret in Oslo is the place to be, the entry fee is 60 NOK and the party is open for everybody who is interested.

The organizing committee Full Peis and the fan web site Dr Mowinckels Akuttmottak are calling upon the Kaizer fans to gather for a joyful night in Oslo. And like last year, the tribute band Katastrofen will take on the hard bodily work to play Kaizer songs live. And for those who were there last year, it will be exciting to see in what direction Katastrofen has developed in the time since, and what nuances of Kaizers music they refine best at the moment.

Last year, all of Kaizers Orchestra showed up at the party, saw the Katastrofen concert, overcame the pressure to perform and took over the stage for a few songs from the Kaizer catalogue. We asked Geir Kaizer if the band would take a tour there this year as well.

- In any way, this would have to be a surprise! But we are on vacation until Aug 10, so actually, I think that none of us is in town on the 7th, but I don't have a full overview over that.

- By the way, have you seen more of those tribute bands that play Kaizer songs?

- I think we have only seen Katastrofen, who played at the respective fan party last year, but none of the others. Except that we have heard this Resistansen band from the USA. It was amusing to hear Americans sing in Norwegian for once. It is funny for us that people who try to play our music, put emphasis on some other things than we do.

So, Skuret August 7. Come to the party!
