While many Norwegians sat down in front of their TVs to watch the Sunday shows yesterday, Kaizers Orchestra came on stage at Drammens Teater and delivered an intense concert in venerable surroundings in front of a cooking audience.

There was really nothing that showed that it was an early Sunday night and an alcohol-free event when band and audience got ready for a good bunch of Kaizer songs yesterday. The reviewer of Drammens Tidende writes today that this must have been one of the best concerts the band has played on Norwegian grounds.

- He he, it's always hard to measure things like that, but this was certainly a concert to remember, Janove The Jackal Kaizer says, who according to DT is a roughneck of a frontman.

- There is something about playing in such sensationally nice surrounding like Drammen Teater. It's like you can't allow yourself anything other than to deliver 100% when you're standing in a hall like this, to do it justice. It's probably one of the nicest places we have ever played in, yes, definitely.

- Two concerts left in this season, and then two months off, what will you do in that time?

- We will go to Berlin and play at popkomm on September 21st, but apart from that, we have some time off, yes. This will be terrific, calm down a little. I will just be home and compose, because that's what's real to me.

- You cite Brian McFadden, is this a hint about the future musical direction?

- No, but we had to listen to the night radio on P1 after our concert in Kapp on Saturday, for the two hours it took us to go to Oslo, and there turned up some pieces of gold there. We are busy planning and composing a new album, and after having played at Drammens Teater yesterday, we don't really want to quiet down now!
