Cementen and bok i sentrum will get a visit of Jan Zahl on Thursday and Friday, respectively. For this occasion, he will take along Janove and Geir from the ompa orchestra Kaizers Orchestra that has a book out at the moment.

The event at Cementen in Stavanger will start at 8 p.m. and will be a simple meeting up between the author and the involved of the book project. Jan will read a little from the book, talk with Janove and Geir, and at the same time, those two will play acoustic excerpts of the whole career that is told in the book, from Blod, Snått & Juling via gnom to Kaizers Orchestra.

The same will happen the day after when the gang will show up at bok i sentrum at spikersuppa in Oslo, on the main stage at 6 p.m. on Friday.

- We have made our own songs since we were 16 years old, and this will be a little look back at how we started, Geir Kaizer explains.

- We sat in our basement room home in Bryne for many hours, both with acoustic guitars and a note pad, and pondered songs, so this event is supposed to illustrate the development, or the lack of it if you want to see it like that.

- People wonder if all this "summing-up", first the DVD and live album, then a huge book, means that you are thinking about dropping Kaizers Orchestra, what can you say about that? There's also a lot of talk about solo projects?

- That's absolutely not the case. Kaizers are working on new material as we speak, and we have plans for many more years. This book is actually Jan's project, it is only one chapter of our career, not the last, and since we manage to have two thoughts in the head at the same time, there is no problem to do this at the same time as solo things as well.

- Good to hear. So we'll see you in Stavanger or in Oslo, guys!
