Kaizers Orchestra are used to being on top of the listings, but not in the book listings!

Today, Jan Zahl and Paal Audestad's massive Kaizers Orchestra book enters the Dagbladet-listing of general literature on position eight. That's pretty spectacular.

- This is better than we expected, yes. Kaizers are about music, not literature, but it seems that it is true that a good story will always sell anyway!, a still very pleased author Jan Zahl says.

- It is already clear that we will print a second edition, as the first with 3000 pieces is almost sold out already. That is something we hoped for, but we didn't dare to be sure about it, as this is such a special product.

- It seems that some of the book chains have been a little reluctant to stock Kontroll På Kontinentet?

- Yes, as I said, it was hard to predict how much a book like this one could sell, so some have decided to sit back and wait, and additionally, there was some trouble with the distribution. So for example Stavanger was out of the distribution route there a little, but we hope that with the next edition, things will go better. I still think that this book is interesting for everybody, whether they like Kaizers Orchestra or not, so we count on the sale going on.

At the end, we hurry in with another good book review. BA gives five points out of six to KPK and writes in the conclusion: "Both form and content are among the best I have read in band books."

Great that we agree on that!
