Kaizersbuddy and Swedish ballad-folk-troubadour-rocker Stefan Sundstrøm came, saw and sang!

- Hah, hell, what an honor! Tough band, sure I will sing! Stefan himself didn't hesitate when he was asked to contribute some vocals.

- How do you know Stefan Sundstrøm?

- The first time we met Stefan was at Glenghuset in Sarpsborg, Ted "Tortellini" Winterstø explains. (He discovered his favorite dish at the studio canteen.)

- We played a concert there, and he was the support act, or, no... incidentally, did we warm up for him? Maybe he was more known than we then? Don't remember, it doesn't matter either, in any case it was before we became known, before Ompa Til Du Dør was released. Glenghuset in Sarpsborg was one of the few places where we were allowed to play at that time. Anyway, Stefan saw our show and was really excited about the band, and started praising us. And that left an impression on us. Collegues are normally not too generous with superlatives, so we appreciated the support a lot.

- Since then we maintained a loose contact, he knows our friend Micke From Sweden and regularly plays together with him, so we met him once in a while because of that. Now it turned out that he took a trip to Berlin with his daughter Vanja, so we invited them into the studio, because we felt like we had a perfect Stefan song for him.

- Yeah! The first Kaizer-duet? What is the name of the song?

- He is the right person to play the character "Lou" in a song that is called "Du og meg Lou" (You and me Lou). The song is about two old friends that look back on a life they lived in clover, on a time where they controled the whole show, mixed with a bit bitter jealousy and love-live-problems. It was a really funny night. Vanja got to do the choirs, so the whole Sundstrøm-clan was involved. That was fun. Let's see if the song makes it on the album!
