The NRK program Lydverket visited Kaizers in the studio in Berlin where they recorded the new album. See the clip on NRK1 tomorrow, January 30!An autumn cold Berlin and a hard working rock orchestra from Norway, that is what Lydverket got to see when they took the trip offshore to check out the atmosphere in the studio during the recording of Kaizers Orchestra's fourth album.
- Cool that they made it down here, Rune Mink Kaizers says.
- There is a bunch of totally new elements to the recording for us this time. New surroundings, new producer, new focus and simply a new and fresh feeling. We like to believe that we are a band that is steadily changing and growing, and thus there are always new thing happening when we are making a new record. Those factors definitely make it worthwile visiting us, I would say.
- So what will this Lydverket report focus on?
- Well, actually we were pretty busy with ourselves, so they filmed and talked to us while we just continued with the recordings and set up things. Exactly on the day they were there we had rented the big room for the symphony orchestra on the second floor, the "pride and joy" of the building, so this is why the clip is mostly about the song "Ond sirkel" that we were working on right then. The last track on the album, by the way!
