The original member Jon Sjøen Lion King Kaizer will have his comeback in the Kaizers outfit! For the three upcoming concerts, he will be the substitute for his earlier substitute Øyvind Thunder Kaizer who is expecting a baby these days.

The concerts in Tønsberg, Lillestrøm and the graduate meeting at Kongeparken in Ålgård are the ones that receive the honor of this exclusive reunion with the ex-Kaizer Jon Sjøen.
Kaizernews got to exchange a few words with the man after a practicing round with the rest of the band at the rehearsal room in Oslo.

- Yep, that's fun! A lot to remember, but I think this will go fine. I've played most of the songs a few times before, luckily!

- Nice to be back in the circus?

- There wasn't really that much circus during the practice right now, but yeah, cool to be part of it again, we go a long way back, to the old days, like they say in the song.

- What have you been doing lately?

- I've moved to Haugesund, started a family there, and I am living a calmer live now than I did in the Kaizers time. I play a bit here and there, among others I've been in a Vamp-production in Haugesund this fall, stay in reasonable form and have a good time.

The Kaizers gang is also happy to see Jon again.

- Jon is an important figure in the Kaizers history, Rune Mink Kaizer says about the man that plays stand-up bass on Ompa til du dør and Evig pint.

- He joined the band and raised the musical level at a very important point in time. We got ourselves a pretty strict guy to whet ourselves on, yes. He was probably the only one of us who could play in the beginning, and he was very aware of that, so he demanded improvements all the time. In the end, this started to help as well! So if we need a substitute, it is great that it is Jon who does the job!

We are looking forward to seeing Jon on stage again!
