The regular vinyl version of Maskineri is sold out. Now there is a limited edition in white.

Petroleum Records pressed 500 copies of this white vinyl. Considering the demand for the 500 copies of the last version, there will be fight over these 500 as well.

- The CD format is probably going out, and more people discover vinyl, Janove Kaizer reasons.

- I myself got a sense for vinyl; I took over a little pile from my father who is not such an eager music listener anymore, bought a record player, added some classics, and by now I have a nice little collection on the shelf. Back then we started to buy records just at the time when the CD took over, so actually, I never really got into the vinyl thing, but I understand a bit more now, because compressing of sound is really taking off in today's CD reality. In many cases, it's warmer and nicer with vinyl.

- You only press 500 copies, so this will be a collector's item?

- Yes, probably. We have a limited number of copies for all vinyl versions of our albums, so they are actually all collector's items. Too bad I don't have them myself, hehe.

- People don't pay for MP3, as they can download it for free, and they are stopping to buy CDs. Will collector's items soon be the only kind of music people will pay for?

- Tja, maybe. For our part, we hope that the digital solutions better meet what the consumers wish for, so that it becomes easier for them to decide to pay, so we can add vinyl and such for those who are interested in that. But we will see, making and playing music is still the most interesting for us.

Let us conclude with pointing out that the vinyl version includes an extra song, "Romantisk salme i F dur"!
