We are approaching the end of the year, and not only that, we are actually approaching the end of the decade! Of course it's time for summaries and elections now!P3 takes this task seriously, they are currently running not only one, but TWO elections. First of all, the program SEXY chooses the Norwegian artist of the decade on their web site. Among the nominees, we find six distinguished gentlemen in their prime, not entirely unknown for playing on oil barrels and other rubbish. In fact, they are leading the votes at the moment, with 34% of the votes, but known and beloved bands are just behind, so get going and make use of your right to vote!
In the second vote under P3's direction, the best song of the decade is elected. Among the nominees you can actually find three Kaizertracks, "Ompa til du dør", "Kontroll på kontinentet" (both are actually listed with the wrong year, they were released in 2001) and "Maestro" from 2005.
The composer himself is of course happy with the nominations:
