The Kaizers theater play Sonny will premiere at Rogaland Teater on 11/11/11 (Nov 11, 2011), and the ticket sale starts 10/10/10 (Oct 10, 2010). Now, Rogaland Teater offers the fans an exclusive opportunity to attend two shows and at the same time meet Janove Ottesen and Geir Zahl next year.Kaizers Orchestra have always had a close relation to their dedicated fans. As gesture to the most dedicated fans, Rogaland Teater starts selling tickets for two Sonny shows a week before the official ticket sale starts.
Magnificent story
Sonny is a strange, burlesque, maximalistic, and magnificent story about the big questions around betrayel, war, friendship, love, and death. The play is based on Kaizers Orchestra's music and the characters from their lyrics, and it is written by Tore Renberg.
Music
Janove Ottesen and Geir Zahl do the music for the play. They won't be on stage themselves, but they will record all music again, together with the rest of the band, and prepare it in cooperation with the director. Tore Renberg went through Kaizers' rich music catalog and found a red thread through that universe and the characters that the band created.

For these two nights, Janove Ottesen and Geir Zahl have agreed to meet the fans, sign autographs, give away mechandise and talk about the process behind the theater play.
