On Saturday, September 14, Kaizers Orchestra will play in the DNB Arena. This might be the last Kaizers concert in history.

- In here. A last dance, Kaizers singer Janove Ottesen says and looks out over the ice.

We've heard that Kaizers will take a considerable break after September 14, 2013. They are still friends, no one will break all contact, but this is what Ottesen answers when we ask if we can call this the last Kaizers concert in history:

- Yes, this is serious. This might be the last Kaizers concert in history.

- We hope that we'll have the time and will want to start Kaizers up again, but it's not certain that this will happen. Who knows what we will be doing in 4-5 years. Someone might have moved to the other side of the planet. We might have gotten jobs and thousands of kids and whatever that turns it unlikely. Who knows?

Of course Kaizers didn't want to go into the unknown without an enormous grand finale. After pondering different alternatives, they decided on DNB Arena in Stavanger and Saturday, September 14.

- On that day, this hall will be our lounge. The audience will come home to Kaizers, home into the living room. We can do what we want here, and this will be a huge, spectacular party.

They cannot say much about what exactly will happen that night, but Ottesen already reveals a bit.

- We will play a lot, all our biggest hits, all what the fans want, and we will play long.

DNB Arena is normally the arena that the ice hockey team Stavanger Oilers uses. But the hall has been constructed so that it can be used as concert hall as well. Brad Paisley has played there, and in the summer, Mark Knopfler will come by. There's place for about 6000 spectators.

- We dream about selling out. Jam-packed, amazing atmosphere, and a very last dance together with the fans, Ottesen says.

- And maybe an additional concert?

- We will see. In any case, that Saturday will be the very last Kaizers concert. We don't know if there will be need for some days before that, but the Saturday will be the very last time.

The whole band, Geir Zahl, Helge Risa, Øyvind Storesund, Terje Winterstø Røthing, Rune Solheim, and Janove Ottesen meet up with Aftenbladet in the DNB Arena. There are no conflicts, no one is mad, no one has been fired or anything like that. They all talk warmly about one another, about the fans, about the band life, and about the upcoming last six months. But after a devouring trilogy project, the plan was to let the whole band rest. They are feverishly looking forward to this last night with the gang and the fans.

- We conclude at home. Not in Oslo, not in Bergen, and not in Berlin. At home. This will be a stirringly nice evening, Ottesen says.

Tickets for this very last Kaizers concert will be up on Billettservice on Friday, February 8, 9:00 am.
