Trouble with the record company, touring abroad, solo projects, international record deal and preparations for the Kaizers-album number three, that is the Kaizers year summed up briefly.

- In a way, this has probably been a year of intermediate stations for us, Geir Hellraizer Kaizer says.

- We have settled and put behind us old relations that have slowed down our further developments, while we have arranged the optimal circumstances for the next years and releases, both in Norway and internationally. Out with the old shit and on with new passion. Good thing, and it will be exciting to see what we can manage to do together with the Universal system at our backs. We are looking forward to start with that.

Kaizers Orchestra did their last regular concert of the year in the Rockefeller on September 11 this year already, but anyway they have done some playing. The band completed 62 concerts in 2004, 13 in Norway and 49 abroad. A pretty stable number, but Hellraizer promises that it will be more next year.

- Actually, we count a Kaizer year from September to September, like a school year, and starting next September until September 2006 it will only be full throttle for us. It's that period that we have been powering up for since this last year, "this is it", so to say, it is NOW, as Sig Monitor would say. And there will be much playing in Norway also, only to have that said. It's here where there where people are really going along.

2004 has also be the year for out-spreading. Janove Ottesen released a solo album, and Terje, aka Ted Winters, gave out a record with his dear Skambankt. Skambankt will keep on working next year, and are already confirmed for the Quart-festival and by:Larm, while Janove will tune down the solo activities a little.

- I will do some promo work until spring, in the countries which will release my album. Germany, the Netherlands and USA and some like that, but next year it'll be Kaizers Orchestra above anything else in any case.

As stated earlier, Kaizers will go into the studio with Jørgen Træen at the end of January, and plan to release album number three in early September of 2005. We can only look forward, exactly like the 10 in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
