Ex-Kaizers-bass player Jon Sjøen will make his comeback to Kaizers during the 46664-concert the band will play in Tromsø June 11. It has been almost two years since he last played with the band.

But there is no reason for exaggerated excitement, Øyvind Thunder is still the Kaizers-bass player, but because of a long-planned tour with Cloroform he cannot take part at the show in Tromsø.

- We needed a replacement for an important job, and wanted to take with us the one with the most Kaizers-blood in his veins, and this is obviously Jon, The Jackal Kaizer says.

Sjøen himself is looking forward to the guest appearance with his old band.

- Yes, this is just great. We practiced today, and even though it has been a long time and one gets a little rusty, I realized quickly that the old material is still "in the fingers". Additionally, I like the new album very much, so it was great to play the new songs.

- Will there be more Kaizers-jobs to do for you in summer?

- I will be at the show in Træna also, but that must be enough, he-he.

In any case this will be a nice reunion. NRK will send the Mandela-concert both on NRK1 and NRK2 on Saturday, Kaizers Orchestra will probably play "Maestro" arount 8 p.m. Check it!
