It took a little longer than planned to get Kaizers' new website up and running, but now the system is in place and Kaizer-news is again on alert, bringing the latest and first to the hungry and thirsty. Right to your PC.

At the moment, Kaisers Orchestra (sic!!! The Translator) are out on an extensive tour through Norway, the big Maestro Tour 2005. Tonight, the guys play in Steinkjer, and how are things going out there on the country roads?

- It goes terrific, Rune Mink Kaizer tells us. He sits backstage in Steinkjer, drumming on a towel and admitting that maybe he is a little nerd-y right now with regard to drumming, but that's the way it is.

- We had a great start with four shows in Southeast Norway, and after that we have started with the North Norway part. We started with a splendid concert at Driv in Tromsø, sold out and terrific atmosphere, then we traveled down through this unbelievably long country, via Narvik, Bodø, Mo and similar towns, up to Steinkjer where we are playing today.

- Big difference between playing abroad and in Norway?

- Both yes and no, actually. We use to play in a little bigger cities than Brønnøysund and Mo i Rana when we are abroad, so from that point of view, it's somehow different. But the playing itself and the atmosphere are generally about the same, no matter where. Even though there is more singing along in Norway of course, it is some instinctive thing with the music, so it works fine everywhere actually - both for two- and four-legged, maybe just not for six-legged.

- You play 11 shows in a row this time, are you starting to feel a little tired?

- Terje and Øyvind were a little weary in head and neck after having a butting competition in a soda machine yesterday in Bodø (uhm, that's what it says! The Translator =;-)), but apart from that everything is great. We are young and healthy men in the best age you know, and apart from that we get along great on tour now, and we have an amazing audience and great organizers. So everything goes fine by itself.
