The Kaizers gang is in idle position now. The guys have completed the busiest season in the band's career. Now the Christmas marzipan is waiting, along with flat Christmas beer and mental-hygienic selfcare.

Caption: One of the highlights of the year, checking out the venue in Barcelona, in September.

Four times full house in Folken in Stavanger some weeks ago, this marked the conclusion of several months of breathless touring activity in Norway and abroad. 33 concerts on the continent and 30 concerts everywhere here at home are listed.

A thoughtful Janove sums up the 63 concerts as one single crazy high-flight. - Oh yes, wow. This was sky-rocketing all the way. Sold out concerts and electric atmosphere. A fantastic experience, is the vocalist's judgment.

So now Kaizers go into a kind of hibernation. This will last some weeks. After Christmas, there will be sporadic concerts here and there, before the Kaizers-train will be on the way again in March. Then, a 14 days European tour is up on the agenda.

You shouldn't be too surprised to see Kaizers high up on the menue of the biggest music festivals in Europe when they start to launch their top names right after New Year.

In the meantime, you can pass your time with the record reviewers' annual awardings and evaluations. Today, for example, Rogalands Avis elects "Maestro" as the record of the year. More will surely follow.

By the way, we remind you that Kaizers are nominated for this year's Alarm-pris as best live-band. We don't see any reason why sworn-in Kaizers fans shouldn't pay a little visit to the Alarmpris-website and give their vote. And when you're at the site anyway, it would be nice if you could cast a little vote for Henning Klokkeråsen in the categorie "Årets blodfan" (Fan of the Year).

... and then there was this thing with the Salvation Army...
