Paal Audestad, Kaizer's official photographer, was very successful in the photo contest "Pictures of the year". He got several prices for his pictures of Kaizers on tour.The contest is organized every year by the press photographer's club. "Pictures of the year" is a photo contest that is supposed to promote journalist pictures. It should be unnecessary to point out that this contest is honorable in the photographer's milieu.
Paal Audestad got the second price in the category Documentation Norway with his photo series about live on tour with Kaizers Orchestra. This pictures were printed on six pages in the very first copy of A-magasinet last year. Audestad got also a third place in the category People with a picture from the same series.
Many of Paal's pictures will surely come up again when Jan Zahl's book about Kaizers will be in the stores this fall.
And we just get in the long line of people who want to congratulate...
