What is better for a Kaizers-fan than holding in the hands a smoking fresh live-EP with the legendary extra number The Gypsy Finale on it, directly after having seen it live?

The Kaizers guys care to give the concert fans a little present in form of three well-known songs from the Rockefeller concert in February.

The songs in question are Sigøynerblod, Bak Et Halleluja and Resistansen. We called Rune Mink Kaizer to hear his thoughts on the release.

- Strictly speaking it's not a release. The distribution won't be bigger than our tours, it will only be sold at concerts and through our net-shop, says the drummer.

- In fact, the idea comes from our own merchandise man Di Stefano who told us during supper that he would think our encore number would sell on a live EP. He got what he wanted. We caught on to the idea. Anyhow he has a decade of experience from the merchandise-kings of Motorpsyco.

- ?!? It is well-known that Resistansen is very different live and recorded. That's almost another song. So that's a point for us how accurat it is in that recording. I remember that at our recordings in 2001 that was the first song we were to record. We were sure of this song, it was good to play and should have been a good song to get into gear with. But it only sounded like a bad swing/rock-dance-band, so we put it back and first recorded Ompa Til Du Dør. That went better. After getting into playing better we went back to Resistansen and so it became the way it is on the record.
