The "Maestro Tour 2006" is history. After months on the road, Kaizers concluded their breathless turbo tour through half of Europe with an enormous show at rockefeller on Monday.- Fantastic new experiences, Geir Kaizers sums up. He dries the last sweat drops from the first big trial of strength of the year before he gets ready to leap. - And now we relax, before we go on again in May, the second guitarist jubilates. He will use the next weeks to finish his solo album that is expected to come out in fall.
- Vacations are for wimps, the jazzmaster enthusiast comments cooly. Being tough. Normally, he's soft and modest, almost like a foal. Or a kitty.
Anyway, May 5th is the start for a busy summer season. Then, Kaizers will warm up the Bergen people before Iggy comes on and the audience is in euphory. Then it goes one after the other. Until today, Kaizers are listed for 16 festival gigs.
Don't be surprised if there will be more!
The fan of the year, Henning Klokkeråsen, can report by the way that Monday's Rockefeller concert is on third place of Kaizers' longest concerts. And there is no reason to mistrust Mr. Klokkkeråsen. Actually, it's to the contrary. He knows what he's talking about.
Caption. Janove thanks and bows for the last time for this tour. Back on the stage in May.
