Do you believe that Carl I. Hagen is a muslim? Then you fell for one of the april fools in the papers. Do you believe that Kaizers' gear has been stolen and destroyed? That's what the whole band believed an April 1st. Well, except for Rune...This was because the eager, but sometimes idle drummer that exhibits some features of AHDH, had the plan to fool all Norwegian media on April 1st.
- I sat home and and wondered if there was something that could throw a spanner in the Kaizers-works, Rune explains. Said and done. He made up a sick story about some swine breaking into Kaizers' new storage. That is were most of the band's instruments and further valuable gear is stored. The history was sent out to all band members, the management and the backliners.
Then Rune sat down calmly and waited. And it didn't take long before the reactions came in. The first person to react and the one that was most strongly affected was sound engineer Berntsen. He had some valuable microphones in the depot that turned out not to be insured. He got on the phone to Rune. - Are the mikes there, are they, are they? He almost cried on the phone.
Ice-cold Rune carried it to the extreme, but just before Berntsen was committed to Dikemark District's psychiatic institution, he didn't dare to go further. He revealed the bluff. Similar phone calls came also in from other Kaizers-people. Even if not all of them fell for the joke as much as Sound-Berntsen did, they were worried, very worried.
And the only one who laughed about the April fool was Rune. All the others promised that drum-Rune will be up for counter-actions, which may easily happen on other dates than just April 1st.
