Maestro, Kaizers Orchestra's third album, made it into the VG charts again today. Place 40 today, and a whole 19 weeks in this good company is good. Only four artists in the list have been in there longer than the rattling gang with the oil barrels. We called up Kaizers' organist Helge Omen to get a reaction on those news.
- Hi Helge, Maestro is in the charts again and wow and hey and great, what do you say?
- Uh... that is good then, to be in the charts?
- That's good news, yes. It means that Maestro was the 40th most sold record last week!
- Yeah, that's good, I guess.
- The fact that the album is a special offer for 79 kroner probably has some influence on the sale as well, or what do you think about that?
- Well, sure... I mean... that's pretty expensive, so...
- It's about half the original price, actually.
- Oh, you say so? Well, I guess I'm happy about that... or - maybe I'm not?
- You don't buy that much music yourself, do you?
- No... fairly little.
Okay. Thanks for a very nice interview, Helge. Apart from that, we only want to add that the long anticipated DVD that contains most you need to know about Kaizers Orchestra is ready. It will be in the stores Monday, April 24. You just must have it. Objectively speaking.
