- Kaizers Orchestra announced on kaizers.no that the Jackal and Thunder will do a promo tour through Europe next week! They will play some showcases in Berlin, Copenhagen, Vienna, and Zurich to announce their trilogy - the Jackal on the piano and Thunder on the stand-up bass. In Berlin, Copenhagen, and Vienna, they will also introduce some songs of the upcoming album Violeta Violeta Vol. I (release date January 31, 2011). Some fans will also have the chance to experience these promo gigs - but there's no detailed information yet on how to get in. Seems there will be a lottery for the Berlin tickets, and the gig in Zurich will be support for Paul Smith (or maybe only for press). So let's wait for more information!
And talking about waiting... we're all waiting for the spring tour dates, right? A first date was slipped today: Kaizers Orchestra will play at Paradiso in Amsterdam on March 26, 2011 (why did nobody notice that I tweeted the concert would be in 2010? *g*)!

Update: You can get tickets for the performances in Berlin, Copenhagen, and Vienna on Kaizers Orchestra's MySpace site! Click on "tickets" in the Bizmo widget. You have to pay the ticket fees only. There are 50 tickets per gig.
Update 2: In Zurich, there will first be a short presentation for press only, and afterwards Janove & Øyvind will play some songs as support for Paul Smith. You can buy tickets for the Paul Smith concert at starticket.ch.
