Wow, what a week! The studio tour was a blasting success - everywhere you got to hear only praise and see only happy faces (even though not everybody liked the appearence of special guest Morten Abel). My reports from Stavanger and Oslo have been online for a few days - there won't be any photos this time, sorry. But here's a short summary of all the news that came up the last few days:
Kaizers Orchestra won't release only ONE album, but a trilogy called "Violeta, Violeta". The reason for this was simply that the Jackal had a time about two and a half years ago when he was writing two to three new songs each day for about a month. And all songs were good, so it was clear that they would constitute the anniversary album in 2011. But then, they wouldn't fit onto just one album - that's why we will get three! The lyrics of the songs will be about a family whose daughter is called Violeta.
There will be several tours for the trilogy. The main tour will be the European tour in March/April 2011. And the last concert of that tour will take place at Oslo Spektrum on April 9, 2011! This will be the biggest Kaizers Orchestra concert ever (up to now, that is *g*). Tickets are already on sale (and cost an incredible amount of postage... *grr*) - and because there are different ticket categories at Spektrum, you might not want to wait too long if you want standing tickets in front of the stage!
Last but not least, in some interviews the Jackal talked about the idea of having a Kaizers movie at some point in time - which isn't really surprising considering that there will be a Kaizers theater play/musical in 2011. But it doesn't seem there's any real plans yet. =,-)
