One week after the Kaizervirus was released, Kaizers posted the following status update on Facebook:
Status report from day 7:
More than 40000 are now infected with "Aldri vodka, Violeta" and "Siste dans intro", and more viruses are on their way. We made our way out of Europe and took over the United States of America. Magnificent!

The Android version of the Kaizervirus has now also been updated. The iPhone version was already updated on Monday. The app should be faster now. Especially in those areas where a lot of people are receptive to new viruses.

What people are wondering about:
As mentioned before, the viruses have spread faster and to more fans than expected. We have simply lost control over the spreading of the virus. In a way, the virus has started to behave like a common virus. This is what makes it difficult to infect one another on purpose. Even if you are close according to the map, someone might have been infected by someone else. Even if you are closer. A bit like sitting on the bus and catching a flu from some random guy. You might be infected by the person beside you or the person in the back of the bus.

Unfortunately, the app will not be developed for further platforms. We are sorry about that, but this is the way it is. We hope that all of you can help out one another by spreading the songs independent of the app. "Aldri Vodka, Violeta" has been released digitally yesterday, much sooner than planned. This is also how it will continue.

Your battery and data traffic need to get into gear. We don't play virus.
That report already mentioned the most important news of the last few days: On Monday, the next virus "Siste Dans Intro" was released. I haven't heard the song yet, but it seems to be an instrumental with the melody of the Kaizervirus videos. "Aldri vodka, Violeta" is now available officially in Norway, both for purchase and to listen online through Spotify and Wimp. Sadly, we Non-Norwegians will have to wait again, or put up with the YouTube version (for the Germans: HideMyAss or ProxTube are your friends...).

Yesterday evening there was a nice surprise for the Kaizer fans in Molde: After being stranded on the way to Bergen, Janove decided to play a little acoustic concert there, which you can watch here.
