- And here we go! Tomorrow, the Violeta Violeta Vol. III tour will start with the first of six concerts at Oslo's opera house. You can check out some first photos of the opera here and here, and of course everyone is getting more and more curious about the setlist by now. We'll know more tomorrow! If someone attends the concert tomorrow or later this week and wants to write a report, that would be great of course - just send it in! Otherwise you'll have to wait until this weekend. =;-)
Some logistic notes: According to the opera, the show will start precisely at 7 p.m. (or 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 4 p.m. for the matinee show, of course). So don't be late! And we're in for 1 hour and 45 minutes of Kaizers Orchestra, supported by the Kringkastingsorkestret and a choir. Yay, get it on!
If you cannot attend any of the concerts, you can still look forward to the DVD. The project has been financed for a while, so it will definitely happen. But there is some news here as well: If the project goes up to 200% before April 1st, we will get bonus material on the DVD, amongst other things the first Kaizers Orchestra concert that was ever filmed. So get going! If you haven't ordered the DVD/Blu-Ray yet, get your pledge in ASAP at Pledge Music! (If you don't know the concept of pledging, you can find a short explanation here.)
And finally some good news for the German fans: You can now preorder Vol. III at amazon.de - which means that everything looks like the album will finally be released here on Februar 15!
