I hope I'll find the time to write another update before I see the first concert - if I don't manage to do that, the next update here will be the final review including the live experience. =;-)
After listening to the songs only once
MomentBad start for an album... =:-( Lots of noise and low droning, grumbling, but no clear sounds at the beginning. It just sounds wrong and chaotic. I really liked the song live, and I still love the melody - but this version doesn't rock. It's nothing but some weird Waits-rumbling. No, I'm not really a fan of Waits...

I've heard it a few times already by now. I like it, and it rocks, but I guess it's too complicated for the common Not-Kaizers-fan.

I only read praise about this song - and deservedly so! It sounds really nice. Maybe a bit too much echo on the vocals in the beginning, and I don't really like the high singing of Janove in the background at the beginning. But it's understandable that the female voice doesn't start with the backing vocals but with her part. I like the lyrics, thumbs up!

Yeah! This one rocks and grooves. =:-) It starts nicely with slow gypsy tunes (ok, you could probably call it Waits-esk as well *g*). No clue what the lyrics are about, but I love the song!

Very nice as well! I can't really hear the machine yet, but the whole backing is great. The end (or rather the Takk Gud part) is pretty weird, but let's see how it develops. I want to hear it live!

Another one I know - and the song is really clean and smooth. A typical single. I am really irritated by the 9mm, because they sang Revolver there when they played the song live (or at least that's what I understood *uhem*). And I just can't figure out when and how they sing it.

Completely stupid, and a great song at the same time. Yes, the song is very nice - but this is not Kaizers. Janove Sinatra... put it on your next solo album or maybe use it as a b-side, but it just doesn't belong here, sorry. =:-(

Great, even though it might be a bit crazy as well. =;-) And gypsy music again, even though it's slower than what Kaizers normally call gypsy. It will take some time for me to really remember the melody - the Busters play exactly the same melody in one song, but in major key instead of minor. *g*
