The last one of my festival concerts already… Right after arriving on the festival grounds, I passed by the Festivalguide stand to see if maybe Kaizers would do a signing session there. And yes: Kaizers 19:00! Hmm, I could come by then… or maybe not, I really don’t need any autographs….and by the way, what time is it…? It was 19:00 on the spot, and while I was still wondering about whether I should disappear quickly or maybe have them finally sign my jacket, they came out and took the decision for me, basically. =;-) But I will never understand why you do signing sessions right next to the main stage at the time some other band plays on the main stage… *rolleyes*
Anyway. A few hours later, it was time for the Kaizers concert in the tent. Somehow the schedule got messed up though, so that the band before only stopped at the time when Kaizers where supposed to start. No clue if this was good (because auf die people who wanted to see the Sportfreunde Stiller concert before coming to see Kaizers) or bad (because of the people who were annoyed by waiting – I mean, if you only came to the tent at the time Kaizers were supposed to start, you didn’t know the wait was not their fault) in the end. But finally they were ready to start (with the new intro again)!
The tent was packed, and people were crowding in in front of the stage – perfect! And all in all the concert was just great, even though the audience didn’t really do anything on their own but always had to be asked. But then, they were cheering, screaming, clapping and singing enthusiastically!
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get hold of a setlist this time (and of course, just this time I did not try to remember it… *sigh*), so here’s my reconstruction – I assume it contains all the songs, but not necessarily in the right order: Ompa til du dør, Bøn fra helvete, 9mm, Sigøynerblod, Container, Blitzregn Baby, Apokalyps meg, Kontroll på kontinentet, Enden av november, KGB, Delikatessen, Maestro. But at least I wasn’t the only one with a “setlist problem” – the Jackal announced KGB at the wrong time in the set not only once, but twice. =;-)
When the Jackal said skål to us, he explained again that you get seven years of bad sex if you don’t look the other in the eyes. And at once he found a guy in the audience who knew what he was talking about… Namely Georg. (No, NOT Eros, Mr. Kaizer… *g+) But then we all cheered him, and now he will have seven years of great sex. And the Jackal asked him to please come by backstage after the show and tell about the seven years – and start the next seven years right there. With the Jackal, as Hellraizer pointed out. (Now wait – I thought Die Ärzte would play the day after?!? *rofl*)
During Maestro, the Jackal asked us very kindly to sing along: “Singen Sie bitte!” Well, we did. And as written above, the audience was really excited and doing everything they were asked very enthusiastically. Like whispering the name of the Jackal. Who by the way spent most of the concert up on some barrel, always until he was sent down again by one of the guitar players. Thus a really great atmosphere! =:-)
But the best part in my opinion was when Omen during Delikatessen suddenly started dusting his colleagues’ beer bottles… *rofl*
Well, and that was it… can it be November next week already please…? (I mean, the weather would fit already… *brr*)

schöner bericht, aber was hat es denn mit dem neuen intro auf sich? (:
hast die stimmung beim konzert gut beschrieben, finde ich :) achja, war das schön....
Danke. =:-)
