Kaizers Orchestra presented their second Spellemanns-prize to Bergen's main concert site Garage on Thursday, in connection with their first Bergen-concert this year.

- It's a great honor to contribute the third Spellemanns-doorknob. The site is almost a rock-institution in Bergen, and it has meant a lot to us, especially during the "forming years", expresses Geir Kaizer.

Especially at the time before and during the Ompa Til Du Dør recordings, mainly Janove and Geir hang around the pub a lot. Janove explains:

- The special thing about the Garage is that it is a gathering point for so much different music. You can see everything from Black Metal- and Rock-concerts up to acoustic singer-songwriter duos and electronic projects in the same week in the cellar there. We always said we want to take the best of all genres and put this through the Kaizers funnel, and through the Garage we were exposed to so much rare stuff that we inhibited lateron.

- Have you been in much doubt about what to do with the prize?

- I think we needed like one second to agree on it, says Janove.

- The negotiators in the Middle East could learn something from us, yes.

Hellraizer with the last word there.
