Kaizers paid a visit to Tyholt while they were in Trondheim this weekend, and you can hear the result on the radio tomorrow.P3 Morgen has a concept that involves artists covering a song that they think is nice to wake up to. So now you can wake up to a sweet song from Kaizers Orchestra.
- We got a request Friday, didn't have a lot of time to prepare, so we took the one cover song written by a foreigner that we ever played live. We have a special history with this song, as it was played every morning in the band bus during Ompa til du tour, with an obligatory good mood, Janove Kaizer says.
The lyrics will hardly get closer to what Kaizers Orchestra stand for than in what you are served here. But you must know English.
- So you choose a song with English lyrics, we thought you were Norwegian-puritans?
- Oh no, not at all. Actually, we only think it is funny when people from eastern Norway think we normally sing in English. We have been inspired by music in English after all, so it is just nice that it shines through a bit in the Jærsk we sing.
