Iggy Pop, the godfather of punk, will shake Bergen with noisy and hot guitar based rock in May. Just behind him are Kaizers Orchestra.The Kaizers got the job to warm up for the icon before he and The Stooges come on stage in the Bergenshall on May 5th. - This will be amazingly cool to play with Iggy Pop. Everybody who plays rock has some relation to the man, Janove says in a short, but significant, comment to the local newspaper BA in Bergen.
Actually, Kaizers were supposed to play in Teatergarasjen, but then they were asked if they wanted to play for some more people and at the same time prepare the auditory canals of the Bergen audience for Iggy.
- The choice was easy. This will be a night to remember, Janove predicts, still to BA.
