Finally you can bury all speculations: Kaizers will play at Roskilde Festival on Friday, June 30!We got many questions of eager fans both in Norway and Denmark if there would be a ferry tour for a certain six-man-strong orchestra in summer, and during a press conference in Oslo today, it was announced that Kaizers Orchestra, together with Guns 'n Roses, Bob Dylan, Tool, Arctic Monkeys and many more will be on their way to shake the normally peaceful Danish countryside in June.
- Third time is a charm, the jovial Terje Kaizers comments for Kaizernews. This will be the third time Kaizers play at Roskilde.
- Last time we played, in 2003, we had a traumatically bad day at work. Because of techical failures and monitor problems, we had to work really hard to get through the concert unscathed. Well, actually it was a quite ok gig, but we didn't get the chance to really have fun playing for the great Roskilde audience, like we did in 2002. But now it's time to get even! We are really looking forward to that, of course. Roskilde Festival has a very unique atmosphere, Killmaster concludes. He also played at the prestigious Danish festival last year, that time with Skambankt.
Apart from that, Kaizernews must hurry to announce a piece of somehow unfortunate information while we're at it. It actually turned out that the EMI plant in Germany that prints the Kaizer DVD Viva La Vega had big technical problems recently and didn't get started with the printing of the Norwegen version as planned. That means that the release date was moved a week, to Monday, May 1st. We're sorry for that, and we know that we push our luck with the impatient fans now, but there's not much more to do now than just laugh hysterically and take it with extremely good humor.
The version with the English inlay is ready and out on sale outside of Norway, so it's only the Norwegian version that takes a little extra time.
But it is still worth waiting for!
